USANS 2024 Fly Girls & Fly Guys Camp

Event Details

USA NORDIC is looking for the next FLY GIRLS and GUYS to take part in a 2-week long summer camp. The camp is designed to inspire, educate, and immerse the athlete’s in the sports of ski jumping and/or nordic combined at a national level. Athletes will live, train, rest, refuel and compete with each other in a dynamic team environment.

When & Where?
The proposed dates for the 2024 fly camp are June 30th  – July 14th. The camp will take place in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Fly Camp Coaches: 
Casey Larson, A-Team Ski Jumping National Team Athlete.
Cara Larson, Ski Jumping National Team Alumni.

Are you eligible for FLY GIRLS / GUYS? Check off the list below:
 Between the ages of 13 and 17 years old. *You must be 13 years old on the first day of camp
 Can safely ski jump on an HS 60 meter hill
 Is a positive and enthusiastic person/teammate
 Has their own ski jumping skis, bindings, boots, and suit that are in good condition
 Is willing to spend 2 weeks away from home in the summer (July 2024)
 Has competed and participated in local/regional/national events, such as Springer Tournee and/or Junior Nationals
 Is focused on being a ski jumper or nordic combined athlete long-term
 Is willing to engage in fundraising for expenses associated with the camp
*Estimated expense for athletes is $1,500 – $2,000 for summer 2024
