I went to Lahti in 2017 so once.

I’m not currently in school.
How is school going right now?
Not happening.
What is your favorite ski jumping or nordic combined memory?
My top 10 finish in Rasnov, Romania in 2015.
Describe the feeling of ski jumping in your own words.
At lost of frustration mixed with the happiest memories of my life.
What is the result you are most proud of and why?
Coming in 18th in my first world CHampionships after only 8 international competitions ever in ski jumping.
What is one thing which you have been focused on improving which will help you meet these goals?
Explosive power.

Maren Lundby.
To you, what does it mean to be on the World Championship team?
I’m very proud to represent my country at the world championships. It’s a huge opportunity that I hope to make the most of.
What do you hope to learn or accomplish at these upcoming World Championships?
I hope to have my best result of the season.
What is something new that you have added to your training repertoire this year?
Winning everything in Nordic combined.
Do you prefer ski jumping or cross country skiing?
I was never able to choose which is why I still do nordic combined, but am at the ski jumping world champs.
Why do you do both?
Skiing makes me feel strong, healthy and calm. Ski jumping is thrilling and the feeling of flight is not something I would ever get tired of. Why wouldn’t I do both?
What are your hobbies outside of skiing?
Gardening, mountain biking, building bikes.
What is your favorite post workout meal?
Kaiserschmarrn and beer.
A Netflix show you would recommend to others?
Norsemen, elementary.
Celebrity crush?
Johnny Depp.
What is your spirit animal?
A dragon.
Who do you think would win in a fight between a taco and a grilled cheese sandwich, and why?
A taco because its made of tougher stuff.
