Estella Hassrick is from Madison, Wisconsin, where she grew up Ski Jumping at the Blackhawk Ski Club. She started skiing at the age of 4 at Tyrol Basin, and started Ski Jumping at Blackhawk at 8 years old.
Hassrick had a number of personal heroes growing up, which included Gabby Douglas (Gymnastics), Lindsey Vonn (Ski Racing), and Sarah Hendrickson (Ski Jumping).
Hassrick is currently a junior at Middleton High School. When she isn’t in school or Ski Jumping, she enjoys rock climbing.
