Where are you from? What is your home club?
I’m from Eau Claire, Wisconsin and reside in Park City now. I compete for the Flying Eagles Ski Club.
How old were you when you started ski jumping or nordic combined?
I started skiing at two and jumping at five.
Is this your first World Championships experience? If not, how many times have you competed in WSC?
This is my second World Championships.
Where do you go to school and what kind of classes are you taking?
I am taking online classes through DeVry University.
How is school going right now?

What is your favorite ski jumping or nordic combined memory?
Every Westby (Wisconsin) longest standing. Nothing compares.
Describe the feeling of ski jumping in your own words.
Balance, push, pull, fly, land.
What is the result you are most proud of and why?
Winning a medal at World Junior Championships after targeting this for couple years.
What is one thing which you have been focused on improving which will help you meet these goals?
I’ve been working on simplifying my jumping and basing technique more off my feelings.
Who is your role model in the sport?
Kevin Bickner as a nordic combined skier. Competed in every race on Jib skates.
To you, what does it mean to be on the World Championship team?
It’s nice.
What do you hope to learn or accomplish at these upcoming World Championships?
Make Klaebos vlog.
What is something new that you have added to your training repertoire this year?
Prioritizing recovery. Putting more emphasis on technique on the cross country side.
Do you prefer ski jumping or cross country skiing?
Neither, that’s why I do both.
Why do you do both?
Ski jumping is thrilling and exciting. Cross country balances that as being very satisfying when hard work pays off.
What are your hobbies outside of skiing?
Biking, ski touring, tinkering.
What is your favorite post workout meal?
Eggs and jam.
