How old were you when you started ski jumping or nordic combined?
5 years old.
Is this your first World Championships experience? If not, how many times have you competed in WSC?
This is my first World Championships.
Where do you go to school and what kind of classes are you taking?
Memorial High school. I had to switch to online for my second semester due to excessive school missed. I am taking pretty easy electives because I have all of my required classes done.
How is school going right now?
Online is not very fun.
What is your favorite ski jumping or nordic combined memory?
Hanging out with Casey Larson and Mathew Soukup at Paula.
Describe the feeling of ski jumping in your own words.
Sticking your head outside of an airplane window.
What is the result you are most proud of and why?
5th place FIS cup Park City. It opened up many opportunities for the rest of the winter.
What is one thing which you have been focused on improving which will help you meet these goals?
Keeping my head down at the take-off. I used a go-pro once and due to it being heavy on my head it kept my head down.

To you, what does it mean to be on the World Championship team?
That the coaches believe in my future and that from this experience I will gain a lot of valuable lessons.
What do you hope to learn or accomplish at these upcoming World Championships?
Qualify for both the large and small hill competitions.
What is something new that you have added to your training repertoire this year?
Having a consistent coach.
What are your hobbies outside of skiing?
Cribbage and mowing lawn.
What is your favorite post workout meal?
Fruit and an egg.
