Tate Frantz delivered an outstanding performance today, securing 10th place on the HS147 hill in Willingen. This achievement marks his third top-10 finish of the season, showing his consistency and competitive edge on the World Cup circuit.
After finishing 16th in yesterday’s event, Frantz elevated his game today. His first jump of 132.5 meters laid a solid foundation, but it was his second jump of 142 meters that truly made the difference—flying past the calculation line and putting him into 10th place.
Teammate Erik Belshaw also put in a strong performance, finishing 21st in today’s competition.
The team’s strong showing in Willingen sets the stage for continued success, building confidence and excitement for what’s ahead. The momentum of having two different U.S. athletes cracking the top 10 this weekend comes at the perfect time as the team prepares to return home for the upcoming World Cup event in Lake Placid.
