(March 23, 2025) – The final ski jumping event of the season took place in Lahti, Finland, with both the men and women competing on the HS130 hill. While this wrapped up the ski jumping events, the men will head to Planica, Slovenia next weekend for one last Ski Flying event.
The weekend kicked off Thursday with the women’s competition. Annika Belshaw qualified for the main event and advanced to the second round, finishing 29th. On Friday, she improved her performance, climbing ten spots to finish 20th. This strong finish secured her 29th place in the Women’s Overall World Cup standings.
On Saturday, Jason Colby, Kevin Bickner, and Andrew Urlaub represented the U.S. in the men’s individual event. Colby advanced to the second round and closed out the day in 25th place.
Sunday featured the men’s Super Team event, with Jason Colby and Tate Frantz taking the hill for Team USA. The duo delivered a strong showing, finishing in 8th place.
Continental Cup: Zakopane, Poland
Decker Dean, Bryce Kloc, and Maxim Glyvka competed in this weekend’s Continental Cup event on the HS140 hill in Zakopane, Poland. Decker Dean scored points on both days, finishing 28th on Saturday and improving to 27th on Sunday. Dean will join the team for Ski Flying in Planica next weekend.
