Greetings Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined fans and supporters!
The Summer Grand Prix season is coming to an end with our USA Teams finishing with solid results. In an effort to support the Teams for the 2015-16 Season we have been doing an internet campaign with $25,000 in matching grants!
We have not reached our goal and these funds are essential for the Teams to compete this season. Please read this spectacular letter from our Nordic Combined Team leader, Bryan Fletcher….we think this will motivate you to support USA Nordic Combined and Ski Jumping!
Now that Summer Grand Prix’s have come to a close and we focus on the winter I wanted to take minute to say thank you. This season is shaping up to be a great one on all fronts. Training has gone well, and with no special preparation we were competitive in Europe at the Summer Grand Prix competitions. We even had 4 guys in the top 30! A goal we have been chasing for some time. Now that we have attained the goal, I have no doubt that we can repeat and improve upon that performance all winter long.
This is just he beginning however, as the veteran of the team I see a ton of potential in the guys and I cannot wait to watch it unfold. The young guns have really taken some big steps this year. Trust me it will be amazing to watch the gains they make over the next several years. From personal experience I can promise you that these young guys will even shock themselves in the results they achieve.Of course none of this is possible without the support of our donors like you. As I am sure you are aware we are facing quite a financial battle especially against the European teams. Your donation is getting us one-step closer to the top of the podium whether you know it or not. The reason for this is simple, the Europeans may have more resources then they know what to do with, however they don’t have the heart, the passion, or the fire that our team has. Give us an inch; we’ll take a mile from our competitors. Our competitors know this to be true, and it keeps the mental advantage in our favor because one day we will run the table!
