USA Nordic Sport Partners with the National Nordic Foundation
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Park City, Utah, September 29 – USA Nordic and the National Nordic Foundation (NNF) are excited to announce a partnership, which will allow for co-branding of athletically related activities administered, directed or coordinated by USA Nordic and receiving NNF funding. Additionally, the NNF Board of Directors recently approved the inclusion of Ski Jumping as an NNF-supported sport.
These developments are the next step in coordinating efforts between all governing bodies and funders to promote and grow all Nordic Sports in the United States. It is the belief of USA Nordic and NNF that Nordic Sports are stronger together when efforts are coordinated. Furthermore, both organizations see these coordinated efforts as an integral part of increasing popularity and participation in Nordic Sports across the U.S.
The annual “Drive for 25” is set to launch October 7th and is an opportunity for our athletes to fundraise for support of specific athletic initiatives commonly referred to as “Pillar Projects.” Historically the monies raised through NNF have been transparently distributed on covering some or all of the unfunded needs for national development, junior world championships and COC/FIS cup projects.
“Having worked with the NNF for many years as a Board member, I love the energy, enthusiasm and sense of community that is created through the Drive for 25 and other NNF events.” Said USA Nordic’s Executive Director, Billy Demong. “This official partnership will have a direct and positive impact on our athletes while continuing to grow our community.”
The current agreement allows marketing and communications to be coordinated while at the same time allowing for athletes from different disciplines to support their own fundraising so donors can contribute to the discipline they are most interested in supporting. With this format, one sport is not taking away from other sports, but rather all disciplines can be supported through a single platform, making it easier to support one or many different Nordic Disciplines, all in one place.

Hello
We are an Australian family looking for a Nordic focused high school in America for my 14 year old daughter.
We’d prefer the east coast but are open to anywhere. Can you suggest a few schools please.
Thank yiu
