(February 5, 2025) – On Tuesday, the spirit of ski jumping met the sunny shores of Delray Beach, FL, as supporters gathered for an unforgettable USA Ski Jumping fundraiser hosted by Suzanne Soderberg, Janet Lewis, Jeff Soderberg, and Bob Lewis at The Hampton Social. This special event allowed USA Ski Jumping to reach a new community, introduce the excitement to fresh faces, and expand the sport’s footprint beyond its traditional winter strongholds. The event brought together curious fans, athletes, and community members, all united by a shared goal—supporting the continued growth and success of USA Ski Jumping.
Set against the chic, coastal backdrop of The Hampton Social, the evening was filled with lively conversations, delicious food and drinks, and an outpouring of generosity. Guests enjoyed a thoughtfully curated atmosphere that blended the relaxed vibe of Delray Beach with the electrifying energy of the ski jumping community. A highlight of the evening was an inspiring athlete introduction video, showcasing the dedication, grit, and passion of the U.S. Ski Jumping Team. This powerful visual story gave attendees a deeper connection to the athletes they were supporting, offering a glimpse into their training, competitions, and the sacrifices they make to represent the USA.
Adding to the evening’s excitement was a silent auction, featuring exclusive items and experiences that had guests placing bids, all in the name of supporting the team. The generosity on display was overwhelming, with every contribution directly helping USA Ski Jumping athletes pursue their dreams on the world stage.
Guests also heard from former athletes who now play key roles in USA Ski Jumping. Anders Johnson, Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Sports Director, Eric Camerota, CFO of USA Ski Jumping, and Cara Larson, Media Coordinator of USA Ski Jumping, shared how their experiences as athletes help them support the team today.
They were joined by Darryl Landstrom, CEO of USA Ski Jumping, and Dragomir Cioroslan, Director of International Strategies and Development with the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), who spoke about the sport’s growth and future. The event was led and hosted by Jeff Soderberg, whose passion and support for USA Ski Jumping set the tone for an inspiring evening.
The event was centered around fundraising, but it was also a powerful celebration of the dedication, resilience, and passion that define USA Ski Jumping. Every contribution made directly supports the athletes, helping to fund their training, equipment, and competition needs. The Soderbergs’ hospitality created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that inspired generosity and fostered meaningful connections among attendees who share a deep love for winter sports and a commitment to supporting the future of USA Ski Jumping.
Every contribution helps USA Ski Jumping continue to develop elite athletes and inspire the next generation of jumpers across the country.
USA Ski Jumping extends heartfelt gratitude to the Soderberg’s, Paris Baguette Bakery Cafe, and everyone who participated in making this event a night to remember.
