(February 16, 2025) – The Ski Jumping World Cup saw an exciting weekend of competition, with notable performances and milestones for the team in both Sapporo, Japan, and Ljubno, Slovenia.
In Sapporo, Kevin Bickner, Andrew Urlaub, Erik Belshaw and Casey Larson took on the HS137 with two Individual competitions. Bickner delivered a strong weekend, finishing 18th on Saturday and improving to 13th on Sunday, continuing his upward trajectory this season. Urlaub also secured a points-scoring finish with 30th place on Saturday. Erik Belshaw and Casey Larson successfully qualified for both competitions.
Meanwhile, in Ljubno, Slovenia, the women’s World Cup featured a career-best performance from Paige Jones, who finished 19th on Saturday, marking an important milestone in her development. She followed it up with a 26th-place finish on Sunday. Annika Belshaw also made her mark, successfully qualifying for Sunday’s event and adding to the team’s strong representation.
The men will return from Sapporo and have the next weekend off while the girls will trek on to Hinzenbach, Austria for another World Cup before heading to Trondheim, Norway for World Championships.
