The team opened the Summer Grand Prix season with some solid showings on the hill. Erik Belshaw, Casey Larson, and Andrew Urlaub all advanced through qualification to earn their spots in the competition. Urlaub delivered the top men’s results for the U.S., finishing 19th on Saturday and 23rd on Sunday in the debut of the new format, where he secured a top-2 spot in his group to move into the final round.
On the women’s side, Sam Macuga opened her season with some points, a 27th place on Saturday and 28th on Sunday.
Next Stop: The team heads to Wisła, Poland next weekend for week two of the Summer Grand Prix circuit.
