(February 23, 2025) – This past weekend, the Continental Cup men brought the excitement home to Iron Mountain, Michigan, taking on the legendary Pine Mountain HS133 for a jam-packed schedule of four intense individual competitions.
The action launched Friday with five U.S. athletes ready to fly: Andrew Urlaub, Decker Dean, Bryce Kloc, Maxim Glyvka, and newcomer Sawyer Graves, making his Continental Cup debut. Urlaub soared with two standout jumps, clinching a top-10 finish in 10th place. Dean followed with a solid 29th, grabbing valuable points, while Kloc finished 34th, Glyvka 39th, and Graves rounded out the squad in 40th.
Saturday doubled the challenge with back-to-back competitions, and once again all five athletes took the hill. In the morning, Urlaub secured 21st, with Dean just behind in 27th. The afternoon saw Dean stay locked in, delivering another consistent performance and finishing 29th.
Sunday brought a twist as weather delays put the action on hold. But once the skies cleared, the athletes were back at it. Urlaub came out strong, breaking into the top 20 with an 18th-place finish. Dean proved to be the weekend’s model of consistency, wrapping up his solid run in 26th place.
